MET HR ploughs a furrow for new growth

It seems the MET are reviewing criteria for admissions on recruit applications

1. Bit of personal baggage when you were younger? ....lets talk
2. Live outside the MET area ?.... save your breath.

Mmmmmm...  lets see how that works.

The training and quality of recruit has diminished! At least by recruiting people with troubled pasts/criminal records means they can have empathy for criminals! Heard from a Sgt I know that was offered the Accelerated Promotion Scheme who was advised easiest way to get promoted was to get an officer the sack! Saves around 40 grand for the financial year! Then next year you recruit someone on a lower pay scale! That came from a AC rank!

No reason to doubt source! Came out in a conversation how new Oyster cards are being monitored by the powers to be and compared to Carms!

Everyone I've talked to about the roll out of the cards realises the potential hidden agenda.

If they could get away with it the would chip us all

Message would read, 'if found wandering please call the DPS hotline on....'

That's why I travel by bike or motorcycle ! No one bothers me and both are great ways to de stress after a shift! Though cycling home after finishing late on a late is enlightening!
